Today was all about putting up fencing. We sometimes play fencing tetris, changing it around from here and there to hither and yon, to change how the goats work the ground in certain areas. Once and hour or so I am out to the hoop house knocking the snow off, it is WET and HEAVY snow, and if I wait too long, the chances of our hoop house collapsing, increases. Going to be interesting the next 2 days. For those of you who asked, begged, pleaded for snow, thanks ( Read more... )

Opened some fenced in areas this afternoon. Chickens went nutz over the freshly opened soil and all the worms!

Played 18 holes of golf over at White Horse today. Wednesday's bring morning and evening bowling leagues, so there won't be a great deal done tomorrow either.

Very Soon now Foxdog Farm will bare the brunt of many new bouncing baby goats! Springing and spronging (its a goat word, really) around the pasture. Pics of the happy families will pop up on the farm website as the mom's do their thing with the kidding. We are going to be purchasing a new buck for the farm. He currently resides at a farm in Temecula, California. It seems that we may be in for a road trip soon to pick up said little bugger, or we will have to figure out shipping, delivery services, etc to get him up here to his new home. Road Trip!
