Yesterday wasn't too bad. John came over to print off copies of his resume, then we went to Elizabeth to get some lunch and drop off his resumes to various stores. I stopped by Angus and Robertson to buy a travel guide, picked up a great one by Lonely Planet - Europe On A Shoestring - and paid for it with two vouchers I'd saved from my birthday. It's pretty thick, and covers some countries I won't be visiting, but everything I need is in there. It's a good read so far.
Ape and I went to The Gov last night. He invited me to come with him to see a band he likes called The Black Keys, so I thought why not? Except we took a train on the way in and missed our stop, so we had to keep going until it went back the way lol. We got to The Gov around 8 ish and saw the opening band, not sure what their name was, they weren't too bad but there was too much distortion. The Black Keys were pretty good, for a two-piece band they had a big sound, I enjoyed myself.
We had to wait an hour for the next train, and we got on at midnight. We found out unfortunately that the train we were on, which we'd assumed was the Outer Harbour line, was in fact the Grange line. Ape called his mum and luckily she was able to pick us up from Grange, and it turns out it's only fifteen minutes from Port Adelaide, which was lucky.
I overslept majorly today. I got up at quarter to 1. I don't know what's wrong with me lately, I can't seem to get out of bed, it's a struggle. Perhaps it's the cold weather, or maybe it's more than that. I'm trying to finish my script today. It's supposed to be around ten pages, I'm on the sixth and I think my ending is going to be very rushed, which sucks. At least it'll be another assignment done. Getting there slowly. Slowly being the operative word.
