My head feels like it's just about to split

I have just finished working on my assignments. I've been writing on and off this evening for about eight hours. I am physically and mentally exhausted. On the plus side, I finished my script (it's a little long at 14 pages, but is within the 15 page maximum, I couldn't cut it down any more) and my three page treatment. Now I just need to finish my story synopsis for Write Fiction, which I'll do tomorrow. Hopefully it won't take more than a couple of hours. And then I'm done! Thank god. It's been an uphill struggle.

Work wasn't too bad today, got a lot done. I work tomorrow from 4 to 9, so at least I get to sleep in. I need it. And then I'll do some more writing before work. Ideally I'd continue tonight but my mind is completely empty at this point, I've given the script and the treatment everything I had. I then have a nice short shift on Friday, 2.30 to 5.30, and before that I'll drop off all my assignments at the TAFE campus in the city. Friday is the official deadline. Talk about cutting it fine.

I got the feedback off Emma and Melissa tonight for the chapters I gave them. I was really happy with it - they analysed my writing and thought about the subtext, and said a lot of positive things, so that was a much-needed ego boost. Apart from that, can't say much has been happening. Flicking through Europe On A Shoestring, I went to the language chapter last night and it has all sorts of useful phrases in all the languages of the countries the book covers. I really would like to brush up on my German, even though we'll only be there for maybe two days. I was supposed to learn anyway.

Watching Left Field on Channel V and getting a lot of good indie songs. It's convenient - I see them on TV, and can immediately download them via Limewire. Good system. Anyway, it's late, and if I don't go to bed I'll end up eating something for the fifth time in as many hours.
