LJ Idol: Week 5: Afterthought

Dec 04, 2010 07:37

It's been an... interesting week. Always feeling like I should be doing something.

Wednesday, I was recovering from the month long isolation and stress of NaNoWriMo. It was nice to spend the day with a friend.

Thursday was a bit more complicated: I had to go visit relatives, but on the way down I picked up a Chandra Nalaar MTG card and then realised I needed to buy stickers to put on my card sleeves for when I do Friday Night Magic. The visit went about as well as can be expected, I guess.

Friday was a pretty packed day; I had an appointment to get to and since I was going out, I returned some books for my dad and got him some medicine and then I got some stickers and bananas and came home. Still felt like I was missing something, something important.

Talked to my friends, Dad bugged me for a bit about some Magic stuff--must remember to get him up so we can fix it up--and then did my usual check of Dell to see what a new laptop cost. First time in six months? that Dell's been selling me a computer for less than two thousand, so Dad and I did some MORE talking and financial planning and I should be buying a new computer next Thursday when I have access to all the monies. Yay!

I was still forgetting something.

Dealt with my friend who was having a crisis... and then, almost like it didn't even matter, I remembered: I had to make an LJ Idol post.

Wow, I'm usually so more on the ball than this.
