Well, Marisa had said to catch her in person at some point to hear about the summer trip, so when Alice caught a glimpse of her outside the dorm on her way back from the library, she waved and walked over.

"Hi, Marisa."

The shorter blonde stopped and pushed the brim of her hat up - an Indiana Jones hat to be exact - and grinned.

"Sup, Brit. Pick a number between one and six."

"Between one and six?" Alice hummed, thinking for a minute. "All right, three. Why do you ask?"

Marisa reached into her laptop bag, pulled out a bunch of doujin, flipped to number three and handed it over. Yes, these were originally for Floe, so there might be a bit of girl-love in there, but Alice ended up with one that was definitely more story-based than porn based. And, as always, the art was amazing.

"Here you go." Wait... "Can you read Japanese?"

Her former roommate couldn't, but she was always more focused on the pretties than the words.

Marisa could probably see Aya coming from a mile away but damn, it had been the whole summer. Yep, it was clear that Marisa wasn't going to escape without at least one big hug. Because here comes Aya sprint down the hallway.

Oh Gods! That would be one track star coming full speed down the hall with that look on her face.

Marisa was momentarily caught by indecision. On one hand, she hadn't seen Aya all summer and talking to her on the phone never did cut it. On the other hand this was Aya running full speed at her with intent to hug. Should she duck into the open room next to her or just take it?

The hacker stepped back once, glanced to the potential escape route, but then stopped. She closed her eyes and braced herself for impact. The things she suffers for her best friend.

Aya didn't slam into her but she hit forcefully and threw her arms around Marisa in a giant hug.

"I missed you, babe!"

Forcefully was enough. Marisa let out a muffled 'oof' just as she was engulfed by Aya's hug. A moment of squirming to get her arms better positioned and she hugged her friend back.

"Missed you too, ze. Now let go before I bite you."

Sakuya was down in the South common room, tucked into one of the quieter corners away from the television when Marisa ran across him, a book open in his lap. A textbook. That's right, the boy was already getting the assigned readings for his classes done - about a week in advance. Apparently summer vacation did little to teach him the meaning of "taking it easy".

Marisa sneaked over to Sakuya before deftly snatching the book away from him.

"You've got plenty of time for this, ze."

"Excuse me, what are you-" The butler's annoyed expression softened when he saw just who it was interrupted his studies. "Ah, Lady Kirisame... it's good to see you again."

Sitting up a little straighter, he gave a little smile despite his disagreement with her.

"That may be, but plenty of that time happens to be on hand. It's no problem if I make good use of it, is it?"

"Nope! You don't have time for this right now." Marisa shuts the book and tucks it under her arm.

Patchy's Dorm~ verrouillefille August 17 2011, 01:14:07 UTC
Patchouli was just happily laying about in her room, reading one of her many many new books. It had been a wonderful summer. And... it had given her a lot to think about. The rivalry between The Digital Witch and the anonymous hacker was becoming... strange. Mostly because of her own relationship with Marisa. That care package... She knew she was likely to get a visit from Marisa soon.

Sure enough, the Digital Witch was on her way to Patchouli's room. In her uniform skirt and blouse, Marisa was also wearing a leather Indiana Jones hat and a curious little necklace she'd picked up before heading to America. She didn't exactly need it anymore with access to her tower again, but it was pretty and she'd gotten in the habit of wearing it.

Laptop bag on her hip, she situated her hat properly before knocking on the younger girl's door. Then she leaned against the frame and waited...

"The door is unlocked," came the familiar voice from within.

Letting herself in, Marisa closed the door behind her and flashed a charming grin at Patchouli.

"Figured I'd knock instead of just barging in," she said with a wink as she crossed over to where the girl was. Laptop bag was removed and set down before Marisa plopped down next to the other girl. "Whatcha reading?"

Oshitari sprawled on the grass with his back against a tree, idly flipping through Pride and Prejudice for what was surely the thirtieth time. He knew the story well enough that he didn't have to pay much attention, and glanced over the tops of the pages to observe his fellow students from time to time. His comfortable resting spot on the lawn, book carefully positioned to conceal any smirk that may appear on his face, afforded him a perfect eye-level view of the legs of every passing girl.

Reims Academy certainly had nice uniforms, but really, did the skirts have to be quite so long?

He was about to return his focus--some of it, at least--to Regency-era England when a particularly shapely pair of calves strolled past. Hmm, who was that?

Luckily for him, Marisa's skirt was as short as the Academy let her get away with. She never did like long skirts, not when she knew she was hot. Even luckier for Oshitari, Marisa happened to pause at that moment to look through her bag at the right angle to give him bit of thigh without showing all the goods.

When the girl paused, all thoughts of Elizabeth Bennet's fine eyes vanished from Oshitari's mind. His gaze traveled up her body, taking in her slim form and the cloud of blonde hair.

Something about her was vaguely familiar, and he frowned. Had they met? There was something about that pretty face...

Once she'd checked to make sure her phone was in her bag and not left in her room, she caught sight of the boy looking at her. She remembered who he was, but not his name.

...crap.

Anyways, she tilted her head a bit and raised an eyebrow. "Guys usually don't frown when they look at me."
