So! Today was meant to be the one day I had off work to do some Christmas shopping. I spent roughly an hour and a half shopping, and amazed myself by walking out of the fourth store and going, "I think I'm done with everyone I need to be done with for Monday." An hour and a half, three two* shops, $200. I think my sister's just about done now, and I managed to find something for Dad, which is always difficult. Woo! I survived! Came home tonight, in time for a nap and the season finale of CSI. Which was amazing and claustrophobic, and I can see why they delayed it last week.

Made it in about two hours, which I thought would be impossible. Um. Apparently not.

Uni's deserted as it's Easter hols, which is so nice. No 'net access in room yet--but as its supposed to be turned on on Thursday, not expecting it before next week at some point. What can I say, I'm a realist.

Went 'round the Crosses this morning, saw Pete and Gill. Steph came over with Amy, and we went for a walk around the park. Made it safe and sound into Huntingdon just after 1. Rested and relaxed the rest of the afternoon with Bruce and Issy--dinner with them, then my big brother walked me home.

The village is exactly how I left it ages ago--nothing changes around here. It's a nice place to retreat to, but I wouldn't want to live here now.
