Chapter 5
*~~* Inside the café with Ueda
“So you and Jin huh?”
“I guess you can say that...”
“I can see that you’re naïve as I am when Jin and I were still together…”
“Sorry?”
“I came to talk to you, just so you won’t fall in the trap…”
“What trap?”
“Jin has always loved Yamapi, but since Yamapi loves Ryo, he can’t do anything about it. With that he started dating random people, and too bad I was one of the victim.” Ueda lied
“I don’t…”
“You don’t believe me…I know..but observe them and you’ll see what I mean” Ueda said as he walked away
Kazuya went home while still thinking about the moments he’s seen how close Jin is to Yamapi
“Why is it painful knowing that you’ve been lied to? I’ve never felt like this before…is it because it’s you..Jin?” Kazuya cried
~ 2 days after ~
“Where’s Kamenashi?” Jin asked his photographer “Isn’t he my personal cameraman?”
“He is sir, but he called in sick today so I replaced him…” The cameraman answered
“He’s sick?” Jin asked worriedly
“Yes I think he have fever or something…now please get ready so we’ll get this done earlier…” The cameraman ordered his model
After 5 hours of shooting, they finally finished the photoshoot. Jin immediately went to Nino to ask for Kazuya’s address
Why would you like his address?” Nino asked
“I just need to ask him something…”
“But he’s sick…”
“I know…”
“So why bother asking him something when he’s sick? He’ll probably give you a confusing answer…”
“I…”
“Come on ask someone else…” Nino said
“No…I need to see him…make sure he’s ok…” Jin answered firmly
“That’s the answer I want..” Nino thought as he gave Jin a playful smirk “This is his address” Nino said as he handed Jin a piece of paper
Jin immediately drove his way to the said address and tried ringing the doorbell. When no one answered, panic came to him
“what if…shit! No I shouldn’t think like this! Kazuya please…” Jin thought as he tried to ring the bell more. Finally, he tried turning the knob. When he realized that the door has been open since the beginning another thought came to him “There wasn’t any accidents right? Kazuya…please be alright…” he thought as he entered the room
It looks like the place is really clean for any robbery or harassment, so he sighed in relief. He went to the door that’s slightly open and found Kame lying on the bed, looking really sick and sweaty
“Tsk should’ve called me in the first place..” Jin whispered as if he was trying to scold Kame. He approached the younger one and tried to wake him up
“Hnnn”
“Wake-up…I need to know whether you’ve eaten already or whether you’ve drank medicine or not…”
“W-Why are you here?”
“Baka…as your lover isn’t my responsibility to take care of you?” Jin smiled “And please never ever leave your door open. Gosh you don’t know how scared I was when I realized that the door is open”
“Gomen…”
“It’s ok…so mind answering my questions?”
“No…”
“Ok then…be right back…rest well my love…” Jin smiled as he walked out the room
“Jin…lover? Oh yeah he’s right…we are together…but…after what Ueda-san told me…I don’t know anymore‼ I usually trust people right away…and even if I’ve been lied to it doesn’t hurt me…but somehow…when it’s about Jin it feels like my world can end and I won’t even care…I’ve fallen really hard huh? Urgh! My head hurts!” Kazuya complained to himself
Moments later, Jin came back with a bowl of soup and medicine for Kame. He put the tray on the table beside the bed and reached for Kame’s forehead
“Looks like you’re fever has gone down…maybe I am your perfect remedy huh?” Jin winked at him. Jin was about to feed Kame when he’s phone rang “Oh hold on it won’t take long…”
“Hello oh hey Pi!”
“Hey so how was the trip…you didn’t get lost right?”
“Of course not you silly…” Jin smiled
“You love him so much to take care of him huh? Jin I am so proud of you….as your best friend I am happy that you’ve found someone to cherish…”
“Thanks Pi…” Jin smiled wider which didn’t do unnoticed to Kame
“So you’re staying over there?”
“I guess so..Anyways I’ll talk to you tomorrow ok?” Jin said as he hung up
When he turned to look at Kame, the younger one was already eating the soup by himself
“Hey I am so sorry Pi called and…” Jin was about to say more when Kame cut him off
“It’s ok I can eat by myself”
“No Kazu…you’re sick…let me feed you…”
“Stop this Jin please!” Kame begged as tears flowed down his cheeks
“Kazu…are you hurt somewhere?” Jin asked, panic obvious from his voice
“N-no”
“What’s wrong?” Jin asked as he approached him
“You want to know what’s wrong? I feel sick…”
“Of course baby you’re sick…”
“Not that! I mean I feel sick of how I feel‼! I don’t understand why…it’s always been easy for me to believe others, but when it comes to you…I just can’t it’s hard!” Kazu snapped
“Did something happen?”
“I know I love you….but it’s hard for me to believe that you love me too! It’s hard‼! It hurts me to think that everything is a lie! I’d rather we end this now than continuing with all this lies…I’m scared to get hurt by you…because that’s how much I love you…it’s like you’re an addiction to me now…I need you in my life…so if I want to live my life the way I used to, I have to end everything with you..before…” Kame was about to say more when Jin hugged him tight
“Kazu don’t please…don’t let me go…please…”
Kame can hear that thoughtfulness of Jin’s voice, but based on what Ueda told him, he just can’t trust him fully. He was about to push the older one when he felt him sobbing hard
“Kazu…I’ve never felt like this ever…this feeling of wanting to be with someone…this feeling of protecting that someone and being with that person. I’ve already forgotten how to love, but you opened up my heart…it’s like you put together all its broken pieces…please trust me… trust me when I say I love you” Jin cried
“Jin….” Kame still doesn’t believe Jin 100% well it’s not really that he doesn’t believe him. It’s more on the fact that he doesn’t want to get hurt by Jin. It’s like his world would end if he loses the other one. “Maybe I can trust you….maybe we can be like this forever…” Kazuya thought as he hugged Jin back
“OUCH‼!” Jin shouted as he let go of the hug
“Was I too strong…”
“No…it’s the soup…”
Kame looked at Jin’s shirt and found the bowl of soup empty
“Opps…”
“It’s ok…I can take it off and…hmmm mind if I use your washer?”
“no go ahead…”
Moments later, Jin came back, half naked.
“About what we talked about a while ago…”
“I’m willing to try Jin…I love you…” Kame smiled
“I love you too…so much” Jin smiled as he sat beside Kame
The lovers just stared at each other. They stayed like that for a while until Jin hugged Kame tight and positioned him to lie down with the younger one’s head on his arm
“I love you…” Jin kissed the younger one’s forehead “And Merry Christmas…I want you to know that you are the best gift I’ve ever had…”
“Thank you Jin…for everything…and…Merry Christmas too”
