Puppy is getting HUUUUUGE
For those people following along, Cleo is approximately 13 weeks old this week. As of Friday, she weighed in at 22.8 pounds. From widdle cuddly puppy to galumphing monster... Also, her right ear is starting to stand up. (Only her elkhound side has upright ears, so this is a 50/50 chance.)
Note that I mentioned back on August 6th that one of the formulas for predicting puppy size is [(weight right now in pounds)/(weeks old)] x 52 = final weight. Back on 8/6, that number was 78 pounds. It is now 91 pounds. (Edited to add: This is still only about half the weight of a full-grown mastiff, so is not all that big in comparison to previous experiences.)
