less than two weeks until Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival!

Whoooo! Fall show season is upon us! I will be taking my goats up to Berryville for the Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival on September 28-29th. Admission is $5 for adults; kids are free.

I will be competing in the Colored Angora show again. Or, more specifically, Fiona, Kezzi, Angelina, Madeline, and Ari will be competing. The colored goat show will be on Sunday from 10-3, but come early if you want to watch, because it rarely lasts as long as scheduled. If tradition holds, the contestant order will be boys then girls, so Ari should be in the ring by 10:30. I'm hoping that Madeline can strut her stuff for me, as her sister Clover did last year.

After that, tune in for New York Sheep & Wool Festival on October 19-20. I'm not taking Zoe to the show this year, so her first place honors will have to be won by someone else. Maybe Madeline can step up, or maybe Fiona will stand up to the competition this year. We shall see...
