It's our first day of school...

We're happy little learners! So fill our heads with lots of facts, our first day of school!

Well, not really. But I loved that episode and I always think of it when I start a new year of educational pursuits. BTW anyone know what show I'm talking about? Get it right and win the prize! Anhow...

I had to park waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the softball field this morning for class, but that was no real surprise. It's always that busy in the fall. Not in the spring or summer though. I find that sorta odd, but hey! whatever.

So after my 2 K walk to campus I started off the morning with a rip-roaring session of macroeconomics. I have Koren, who is okay. I've had both economics teachers now, and they aren't the worst teachers in the world...not the best either, but they try. I sat in the front, second table from the left, left chair. That's my seat. After two classes in that room, I have become pretty close to it. I call her Lillian Gray. Not really, but the chair is gray. About 15 mins into class, Kevin Brown walked in. hehe Leave it to him to be late on the first day of class. But what are the chances we ended up with another class together? I duno, but they are apparently pretty good. He didn't notice me (being in the corner of the room and what not) and I didn't get a chance to talk to him before I left, but that'll be pretty cool to have someone else in the class I know.

We got out about 45 mins early, so I went over to aqua to talk to Prof. Bury to see if he would authorize my request to sign up for an internship. He was in class, so I just kinda waited around for a bit. Then, out of no where, Jacqui Downs comes walking by. So we chated for a bit. I thought that was sorta weird. We don't see each other for four years and then we bump into each other twice within a couple of months of each other. I guess that's a sign or something. I duno.

Got my paper dilio (that says dilio, not dildo. sick freak) signed by Bury and had a nice little chat about the future of aquaculture at the college and EB. Then on I went to speech class. Eh, it was okay. Nothing too exciting. ::shrug::

College algebra was next. Since I'm taking it with Sam and I have Flynn for a teacher again, I was looking forward to it. And because I was, I, of course, ended up being late. Not LATE late. Just fill up almost all the chairs late. I ended up sitting next to this relatively attractive girl though, so I was happy. She forgot her book, so we shared. She kinda freaked me out though, because she just went on and on about how nice it was that I let her share my book. I mean, ON and ON and ON. O...k.... kinda scary there. Back away slowly. Anywho, got a signature from Flynn to change into that class (I was supposed to be in the 5 class). She remembered my name too. I was very impressed. I mean, I wasn't anything special the last time I took her class. Just sat there and took tests. I have no idea how or why she remembered me. That was a year ago now that I had her last and I would think that would be a couple hundred people later. Oh well, I was impressed.

3 hours later, I finally made it out of guidance with approval to take my internship (it's III and I haven't had II yet...need'em both though) and transfer into the already over filled algebra class. Then, as I was leaving, I run into Sally Mecsko. That was a nice surprise too. I have seen her once since graduation, but that's it. Anyhow, that was pretty cool. She was sorta like my secret crush in high school. I don't know why I never asked her out. She's the down to earth type. Just one of those nice people that gets along with everyone. Oh well. Live and learn.

So that's pretty much it. OH went to Olive Garden for dinner, but neither Pattie nor Sam was working, so that was a let down. Couldn't make them sing the birthday song. ::sigh::

Okay! Have fun! Be good! Play with fire! Get burned! And all that Jazz!
