i scream you scream....
so yesterday's ice cream making activities resulted in two very basic pints: one of vanilla, which was requested by heather and her chocolate-hating friend marissa, and one of chocolate chip.
marissa, after eating her first spoonful: mmmm. tastes just like the vanilla ice cream you buy from the store.
heather, looking shocked and offended: are you kidding? home made is way better than store bought!
heheh. i think what marissa was referring to was teh fact that there's no salt taste, since this ice cream maker doesn't use salt. i have to admit that i kind of missed the saltiness! regardless, i was happy with the first batch, and so was everyone else. the chocolate chip is gone, and there's only about a bowlful of vanilla leftover.
next up, nectarine. or maybe strawberry banana. definitely something with fresh fruit.
