I love my Mom.
After having a rather emotionally trying evening, I got this email from my mom, linking to a website with "Mary, Did You Know" as the background music:
"The sweetest voice I've ever heard sing this song was yours, Amy. The Midnight Mass I heard you sing this gave me chills. I'll never forget that Christmas Cantata. That was the best one that St. Alphonsus has ever had.
Some day when I am rich, I'd like to put you into a recording studio and have you cut just that song, so I could hear it any Christmas I wanted to.

I'm smiling right now. I have been given a true Christmas blessing in the form of my mother.
