Ten/Rose/TenII Fics!
This is probably my favorite pairing. I love Rose/Doctor, I love the Doctors learning to get along with and love each other, I love seeing how the two Doctors diverge over time, I love how they interact with Rose differently, and I love just how hot they all are together! (These are all minimal on angst, unless noted. Because that's how I roll.) Note: This may seem obvious, but just in case: all these fics feature a triad relationship. The situations vary from fic to fic, but if you're trying to avoid, say, specific sexual acts between any of the three, this is not the section for you.
Title:
Loved 'verseAuthor: fid_gin & unfolded73
Rating: Adult (sexual situations)
Summary: this is *the* Ten/Rose/Ten II story/series. Sweet, smutty, angsty, you name it. Ten accidentally leaves Rose and Cloen in the wrong universe, learns to share Rose and love himself.
Notes: Series
Title:
The Tao of RoseAuthor: the_tenzo
Rating: Adult (sexual situations)
Summary: One of the Doctors is injured. Thoughtful Rose POV smut about her life with two Doctors follows. (established relationship)
Title:
An Integral Part of the EquationAuthor: momdaegmorgan
Rating: Adult (sexual situations)
Summary: Ten II and Rose convince an jealous Ten that he is what the title suggests. One guess as to how.

Rating: Adult (sexual situations)
Summary: Rose and Ten II make a bet. A gloriously filthy bet. (established relationship)
Title:
WatchingAuthor: the_tenzo
Rating: Adult (sexual situations)
Summary: Voyeurism and smut in Swinging '60s London. (established relationship)
Title:
Paradise LostAuthor: unfolded73
Pairing/Characters: Ten/Rose/Ten III
Rating: Adult (sexual situations)
Summary: Part of the author's Lostverse. This isn't exactly Ten/Rose/TenII- it's alt-Season 4, with an alt-JE, and an alt-Cloen. Very hot and *very* sad. This is pretty much the only thing on my rec list that doesn't have a happy ending. I usually avoid sad stuff like the plague, but the relationship of the three in this one is so sweet and wonderful that I liked it despite the major angst.
Notes: Pre-established D/R relationship. Also- highlight for warning/spoiler: Warning for major character death; specifically, of alt-Cloen.
Title:
Counting HeartbeatsAuthor: momdaegmorgan
Rating: Adult (sexual situations)
Summary: Rose figures out which of the two Doctors she can't live without. (hint: it's both ;) ) Established relationship.
Title:

Rating: Adult (sexual situations)
Summary: Angsty, hot and plotty story about Ten II finding his place on the TARDIS and his place in his relationship with Ten and Rose.

Things featuring Crossdressing, Genderfuck, or Gender Issues!
Okay, so obviously, none of these things are the same, and as such all of the fics in this section are very different from each other. Basically, though, like in RL, I really like seeing/reading about explorations of gender issues. Not everything in this section is super serious, but I think all of them have something interesting to say or touch on issues in a way I appreciate. So anything from hardcore genderplay smut to two characters sitting around having a conversation.
Also, on the not so serious side of things, I find crossdressing 1. awesome and 2. sexy, which is why it is disproportionately represented in this section.
Title:
Don't Dream It, Be It Author: Witch Nova
Pairing/Characters: Rose/Ten, Mickey, Jackie
Timeline: Season 2-ish?
Rating: Adult (sexual situations)
Summary: Rose, Mickey and Jackie head off to a Rocky Horror Halloween costume party, where someone familiar shows up as the most famous RHPS character. ;) I really like how Rose muses that the Doctor's confidence and comfort level with himself is what makes him sexy. Also, that she proceeds to drag him back to the TARDIS.
Title:
Old Things Made New (Something Extra Remix) Author: svilleficrecs
Pairing/Characters: Rose, Nine, Jack, Rose/Jack, Rose/Nine (implied)
Timeline: Post Season 1 AU
Rating: Adult (sexual situations)
Summary: The author labeled this as crack, but I didn't find it that way at all. AU where Rose's BadWolf scheme at the end of PoTW leads to her regenerating into Ten's body instead of Nine. Rose struggles with suddenly being in a male, alien body while the Doctor is furious with her and Jack is surprisingly sensitive.
Title:
And AlwaysAuthor: rallalon
Pairing/Characters: Rose, Ten, Jack, Rose/Jack, implied Rose/Ten/Jack (established relationship)
Timeline: Post Season 2 AU?
Rating: Adult (sexual situations)
Summary: In an AU where the Doctor can't approach fixed-point Jack without getting very ill, the three of them have to get creative in carrying on their romance. As in this smut fic, where Rose shows up at Jack's dressed in the Doctor's clothes to serve as his proxy. This fic and I are at sort of at cross purposes in that it is mostly about Jack and his feelings and I care mostly about Rose being in a suit, but that's just me.
Title:
MirrorsAuthor: rosa_acicularis
Pairing/Characters: Rose/Ten
Timeline: Season 2-ish?
Rating: All ages
Summary: Not so much a gender exploration, but a sweet conversation between Rose and the Doctor that is prompted by the Doctor trying on Rose's makeup in an attempt to understand her. I love fic where the Doctor is curious about human rituals, especially in relation to Rose, and this author always gets their voices fabulously right. Also, I love the image of them sitting around having a serious conversation while the Doctor is covered in poorly applied cosmetics :).
Title:
Perversions (Heretofore Unpracticed On a Most Willing Body) Author: Regala Electra
Pairing/Characters: Rose/Ten, Rose/Ten/OC
Timeline: Season 2-ish?
Rating: Very, very Adult (sexual situations & kink)
Summary: He needs to know everything and see how far this body can go.
The Doctor wants to try everything in his new body. Everything. The Doctor & Rose's sexual explorations, which cover a wide variety of kinks including crossdressing (on both sides) and sexual gender play (strap ons!). I really liked how this was very kinky and slightly crazed but also very loving.
Notes: contains bondage, mild bdsm, public sex, voyeurism, TARDIS kink, & a M/M/F threesome
Title:
Talk To The Hand (Also in Long and Humor)
Author: WynterEyez
Pairing/Characters: Rose/Cloen, alt!Donna, Jake, Jackie, Pete
Rating: Teen (for violence, implied sexual situations)
Summary: Man, I love this series so much! This is pretty much crazy Torchwood action adventure comedy featuring one of my favorite Rose and Cloen duos. Rose is competent, badass and patient; Cloen is quirky, adorable and a touch angsty. It's in this section based on it's premise that the metacrisis left with Cloen a lot more in touch with his feminine side than expected, leaving him with, among other Donna attributes, a fondness for makeup and women's clothing. I like that the Doctor's explorations are presented as a bit strange but not "wrong", and that the Doctor being written as "feminine" is not author code for "sick" or gay.
Notes: Series
Title:
They Wouldn't DareAuthor: jessalryn
Pairing/Characters: Rose/Ten
Timeline: Season 2-ish
Rating: Teen (some implied naughtiness)
Summary: Fabulous, cracked out fun in which Rose has to come to the rescue of a kidnapped (and spectacularly high) Doctor. Things don't go so well for Rose at first, which results in her spending the second half of the fic wandering around in a men's suit. Clever, Action!Rose rescuing the Doctor in a suit? I really can't wish for much more from a fic. ;)
Title:
BeautifulAuthor: Anonymous
Pairing/Characters: Rose/Cloen
Rating: Adult (sexual situations)
Summary: I was happy to see this turn up on the kinkmeme, even if I'm not sure I agree with how the Doctor reacts at the beginning of this fic. Cloen is ashamed and upset when the metacrisis leaves him with a body that picks up much more from Donna physically than he expected (specifically, the Doctor in this is intersex)- Rose helps him see that he's beautiful the way he is and she loves him the way he is.

Jealous!Ten/Rose Recs!
So although there seems to be a lot of Jealous!Nine stuff out there, Jealous!Ten seems more rare. Being that I'm not a fan of the former and very much a fan of the latter, and that someone actually friended me for posting it on a fic search comm, I imagine other people might be interested in it too. This is basically a list of fic of any situation where Ten is jealous over Rose. A lot of them are adult, but not all of them. And yes, a lot of them are the "the Doctor gets jealous and then they shag" cliche, but not all of them. And also yes, in case there was a doubt, this list was compiled because I find Ten being jealous kinda hot, not for any deeper reason. (Why do I find Jealous!Ten sexy and not Jealous!Nine? I'm not quite sure, but partially because I find it more surprising for his personality, partially because of the way Ten and Rose interact, and partially because Ten reads as less masculine and physically intimidating to me so I find it more interesting, among other things.)
Title:

Other Characters: OC

Notes: Part of the fabulous
Some Slightly Unusual Mistakes Series.

Other Characters: Elvis, OCs

When finally, finally, the Doctor is ready to show Rose how he feels, he is horrified to find Elvis (who's an alien, of course ;)) putting the moves on his girl.
Title:
Staking His Claim Author: amberfocus
Other Characters: Jack, OC
Timeline: alt-Season 4
Rating: Adult (sexual situations)

The Doctor, on the other hand, is not pleased that she is dancing with Jack's hot date, and proceeds to drag her off. To an alley. Can you guess what happens next? (Extra points for Rose for her super pissed off reaction to the Doctor dragging her off)
Title:

Other Characters: Jackie, OC

Summary: Freaking hysterical. And adorable. And fluffy. Cloen gets into an entirely unnecessary fistfight over Rose's affections.
Title:
A Bit Western. Ish.Author: humansrsuperior
Other Characters: OCs
Timeline: Season 2
Rating: Teen (softcore (non explicit) sexual situations)
Summary: Rose and the Doctor explore disappearing people in the Old West! Rose wants to help investigate by working in the local tavern- the Doctor is against this because he doesn't think it's safe, and also possibly maybe because he doesn't like all the men leering at Rose (just a bit). The same goes for her deciding to become the assistant of the magician they're investigating...
Title:
Beautiful ParadoxAuthor: fid_gin
Other Characters: OC

Circe's TL;DR Fic OPINIONS!
So this is only here because 1. I started thinking about the specifics of what I liked when putting together my rec list and 2. It's my personal journal so I can do whatever I want. This is totally self indulgent and doesn't impart any useful information unless you're genuinely curious about why I, personally, like some fic and not others. My issues, let me show you them! Please note the title of this, particularly the "opinions" bit. It being my opinion doesn't mean I think "it's a proven fact!" or that everyone that disagrees with me is WRONG. Also note that I haven't watched Season 5 and on (and don't currently plan to), so this all applies only to Classic Who and Seasons 1-4.
In General:
My Favorite Things in Fic:
As mentioned before, I pretty much only read fiction/only stay interested in fiction where a woman is one of the main characters, with a few exceptions (the real world is androcentric enough for me, thanks). With that said, the type of fic I am most fond of is super long adventure fic (preferably with smut interludes), unexpected world saving, bizarre comedy and sarcasm, companions being awesome together, platonic bffs (especially if their sexualities are compatible), alien sex pollen & shag or die (when it's dub, not non-con, and the ramifications are discussed), established relationship fic (especially if it's adventure fic!), characters crossdressing, crazy alien planets, ensemble fics, and wacky misunderstandings.
My Not So Favorite Things in Fic:
"Everyone is normal!" High School AUs, self-insert OCs, character bashing, tragic and/or destined romances, characters pining and being "rewarded" for their devotion, characters that are martyrs and/or saints, songfic (especially with huge chunks of the song used), accents that are written out, poor punctuation (especially in dialogue), not using spellcheck, poor grammar, "orbs" or "chocolate" used to describe eyes, referring to partners as "mates", character death, babyfic, lots of angst, sad endings, "i have never loved anyone else, ever", detailed descriptions or measurements of bits, oh-no-a-love-tringle, father figure romance, non-con that's presented as "sexy", gender stereotypes or essentialism, "no one understands our love!", Cloen calling himself anything but the Doctor when he's with his family (Rose, Jackie, Pete, et-al.) and characters that weren't that way in canon settling down and being domestic.
More Specifically...
Plot:
While well drawn characters and relationships are more important to me than a clever plot, my favorite types of stories tend to be those featuring some sort of adventure, as opposed to a straight relationship/character exploration. I love the wacky and the fantastic, so: new planets, new species, the Doctor using telepathy, fancy technobabble; I love it all. I especially like long stories because they give a chance to explore more complex plots. I admire, adore and am in awe of authors who can engage in complex world building and/or can write alien political intrigue. I'm relatively okay with hand-waving plot holes if they're not a sign of the author being incompetent and the story or characterization is good. (Especially if it's of the "multiple Doctor" story variety- I *love* these though I know they're canonically impossible past Eight. (And I loooove companions meeting!)) I love ensemble fics and guest stars. I'm a big fan of free will, so I'm not a big fan of super duper timey-whimey time loops. They can be clever, and funny, but if the whole plot hinges on it and it's basically a deux ex machina, I am Not Impressed. I love reading about companions being epic in their own right and not just assisting in the background. I love BadWolf stories, and don't mind Immortal!Rose stories (I know they're ridiculous. Ridiculousness is not necessarily a negative quality for me). My favorite Team TARDIS is Donna-Rose-Doctor, followed closely by Master-Rose-Doctor. I love reading about Donna and Rose bonding (to the Doctor's horror), the Master and Rose bonding (to the Doctor's horror), Donna and the Doctor being epic BFFs, and the Doctor and Rose carrying on a epic intergalactic romance.
Issues, etc.:
I'm particularly sensitive to gender issues. As such I tend to side eye things where EVERYONE! is straight, or EVERYONE! is gay. I definitely notice if everyone in an ensemble story is white and straight. I also have a big hate-on for gender essentialism, stereotyping, women competing/fighting over men, and isms in general. Obviously, a fic doesn't have to be a political screed, but I will roll my eyes and probably backbutton if there's a lot of "womanly instincts" or "He loved her as only a man can a woman" or a woman is asking if "their ass looks fat in this", or basing her entire life around a romantic relationship. So, no, I'm not a fan of Rose weeping herself to sleep every night and then trying to kill herself after Doomsday because her life is over without her man. (Please note the difference between grieving and/or being disenchanted with your life and truly believing your life is worthless without a particular relationship/person.) And if the author, say, does something like referring to women without baby daddies as "stupid sluts", even if they treat the characters in the fic nicely? Yeah, never touching anything by that author again, thanks. Yikes. (a D/R fic written by a woman, if you believe it. :( )I'm also not a fan of (usually well intentioned) gender switch fics where a man gains amazing insight into being a woman because, like, hormones make him weepy or he has trouble walking in high heels.
Angst:
For me, angst is like salt. You add some and it enhances the flavor of your food. You add a lot and you end up with something inedible. In general, I don't dislike well placed angst as long as there's a happy ending for the characters I'm invested in. I'm quite aware that only wanting happy endings is unrealistic- I read fanfiction for escapism. As such, If I want to think about/read sad things there are plenty of things in my life and in the real world that fit the bill, and are much sadder than the exploits of fictional people. Also, I have problems with depression. While I wouldn't say sad stories "trigger" me, things of that nature tend to push my mind in a direction I work hard on getting it away from (b/c it's easy for it to build and get away from me), so I tend to avoid them.
Characters:
I'm much more interested in the women characters than I am the male characters (surprise, right?) and I'm much more interested in the companions (and their reactions) than the Doctor. My favorite character is Rose Tyler, who is a character I relate to, and the character I have the most of a crush on. Most of the fic I read has to do with her character. I think she's clever, fun, brave, a bit selfish, compassionate, rash and insightful, and I love the way BP portrays her. I don't think she's perfect; she definitely has numerous faults, like any well rounded character should. So while I totally understand not liking her on account of her faults or because of personal preference, I'm not interested in reading fic where the author wants to overemphasize those faults or have terrible things happen to her, no matter how good the rest of the story is. Other favorites in no particular order include Donna, Martha, Ace, Tegan, the Master, Nyssa, Turlough, Jackie, Mickey, the Rani, Peri... I like pretty much most companions and characters we've met to some degree. I'm pretty fond of most Doctors as well. I'm still getting a feel for all of them, but probably the ones I'm the most fond of are Five, Two, Six (yeah, what of it?) and Eight.
Character Bashing!:
Ugh. Character bashing detracts from a story so much, plus it makes me feel embarrassed for the author, especially when the author tries to insist that's not what they're doing. This is pretty much something that will make me back button right away if it's obvious, and any hint of it pisses me off and makes me dislike the story/author. I get that everyone likes different characters, and there's nothing wrong with exploring the faults of a character, but I think it's much more productive (for writer and reader!) to write about characters you *like*. I click on things if a story seems to share my interests, not because it shares my dislikes. Chances are that I like whoever's being bashed anyway, so it just makes everything more unpleasant. (And if the author is so filled with character rage that they, for example, post an *entire series* featuring a normal character as a serial rapist purely because they don't like them? I judge them hard. They're fucking creepy. And I wouldn't want to sit next to them on the subway.)
-----Subset: Companion Favoritism!
This is sort of a weaker form of character bashing. Yes, we all have different favorites, and that's okay. But if you feel a need to explain in your story why your favorite is *better* than another companion, this is intrusive and distasteful. Especially since I like pretty much all the companions to varying degrees, and think they are all special and awesome. You don't need to bring one down to make yours seem better. For example, I don't think Martha is a good romantic partner for the Doctor, but that doesn't mean that she isn't absolutely fucking awesome or that she would be a bitch to Rose. In fact, it's CANON that she wouldn't be.
-----Subset:Regeneration Favoritism!
Ugh, hate hate hate. Again, we all have different favorites. I like pretty much all the Doctors, and THEY'RE ALL THE DOCTOR, so it's a little bizarre when someone goes on and on about how one is so much better. (i.e. the character, not, like, thoughtfully discussing issues in their run or how they are portrayed.) Again, just write your story about the characters you like, please; I am not interested in reading wanky hate. This happens mostly in romance plots, I've found, and I pretty much dislike them all. Nine showing up in Journey's End to whisk Rose off from douchebag Ten is a pretty popular scenario, but I've also seen Eight whisk Rose off from douchebag Cloen, and of course the ever-popular Ten whisking Rose off from maniac!douchebag Cloen. I like it when Doctors meet, and when companions meet different Doctors. But if you don't like Ten, just start your story before he regenerates. Who cares if "that's not canon"? Fanfiction, by definition is not canon, so I'm always confused by really convoluted attempts to fix things after the fact. (Rose returning after Doomsday: not convoluted. Killing off Cloen, un-mindwiping Donna, making Rose a Time-Lady and un-regenerating Eleven: convoluted) Note: I know companions switching between Doctors is not unheard of (Charley started with Eight and ended with Six), but in fic it's always this sense of the "better" Doctor rescuing the companion.
---------Subset: 99% of "JE Fixit" fic, aka "Cloen must die!"
Choose one from column A and one from column B: Cloen dies horribly so Rose escapes to The Real Doctor Cloen and Rose have babies and then Cloen dies so Rose is rescued by The Real Doctor Cloen is a total dick so Cloen is somewhat sympathetic, but still a dick so Cloen sacrifices himself in a noble way so Cloen is a homicidal maniac/mentally unsound/abusive etc. so Cloen doesn't love Rose so Rose doesn't love Cloen so I'm ignoring the stories where Rose is the horrible/left behind one, because I don't read/click on fic (and am not interested in reading fic) where it's obvious that the author doesn't like Rose or has bad things happen to her (that are not part of a larger story with a happy ending).
It's all the same to me- no matter how amazing and fantastic a story is, if 1. Cloen exists and 2. He is taken out of the picture in any way but a natural death of old age after living a long, happy life with Rose, I'm not reading it. I was scarred at a young age by a short story about clones and especially, especially by the Madelyne Pryor storyline in Uncanny X-Men circa 1986 (especially
Uncanny 233), so although Cloen is not actually a clone, I am very vested in his happiness and very protective of him. I'm totally fine with JE-fic that cuts him out of the picture by going AU before he exists, but once he's there...
Also, I believe that Cloen is the Doctor, full stop, just like every other incarnation of the Doctor. (Five sez: "A man is the sum of his memories. A Time Lord even more so.") Doctor's Memories + Doctor's Regeneration Energy + New Body = New Doctor. Cloen isn't any less the Doctor just 'cause Ten is still the Doctor, just like Faith isn't any less a Slayer just 'cause Buffy came back to life.
My head canon that runs from this is that Cloen knew exactly what was going to happen on the beach (and probably stuffed his pockets full of screwdrivers and psychic paper and jelly babies and what not), and was totally okay with it. Ten's speech was a combination of trying to sell Cloen to Rose in the worst way possible (lol Ten), trying to make himself the villain, and bitterness that he has to give up Rose. I also believe: 1. in the coral, 2. That neither of them is longing for domesticity any more than they were before, 3. they eventually live happily ever after, living the same madcap lifestyle they were living before DD. 5. Cloen calls himself the Doctor, because he is the Doctor. The end.
That doesn't mean I won't read a spot of existential Cloen angst or Rose getting used to him angst or anything like that, just that I love Doctor Who for the aliens and adventures and the Doctor and Rose getting into trouble, not about "John" and Rose settling down and having babies and angsty sex as they mourn their earthbound existence.
And though I'm not entirely sure why, I find it COMPLETELY intolerable when Rose/Jackie/et. al call Cloen by his assumed human name in private/all the time. (i.e. "Steven, honey, you blew up the toaster again?") It just completely throws me out of the story and makes me twitch and backbutton.
As does anything where he renames himself something weird for deep, important, symbolic reasons.
Shipping
So yes, I ship like a shipping thing, but I am totally down with gen fic, that 1. has a female main character that I like or 2. is short. For ship-fic, I actually prefer fic with established relationships as opposed to 27 chapters focused entirely on the goal of people getting together. The part of 'ships I find most interesting are the relationships themselves, so I want to explore all aspects of those relationships, watching the characters interact and react to issues together, not watch the fic play "will they or won't they?" or "oh no another misunderstanding!" or "our love is threatened by x!". Not that I haven't read all of those types of fic (especially if there was porn involved), but I much prefer the A plot to be adventure with a B plot relationship than the other way around. Sadly, a lot of writers don't seem to know what to do once they get their characters together and so put that at the very end of the fic. Oh well. Also, despite shipping really hard, I like some realism in my shipping. I fall for ships by seeing them in action, and seeing how each specific ship struggle to work things out in their own way and stay together, fight for (and sometimes with!) and mesh well together. So while I have no problem with vaguely unrealistic scenarios like a ship staying together forever and never falling out of love because they complement each other perfectly, I hate hate hate generic overblown OTP things like "Our love is fate/destiny!" tropes, "I can't possibly survive without you!", "My life is worthless without you in it!", "I have never loved anyone but youuuuuu!", "I have loved other people, but you are OMG the best!", etc., when it is obvious they are extensions of how the author feels and not the characters being overly dramatic. (I can definitely see, say, Ten brooding like it's the end of the world because that's a character trait of his. I wouldn't want to read about two characters like him in a relationship, however. ) I also really don't like cheating, especially when it's condoned by the fic as being ok because it's "true love" or whatever. (Note: flirting, open relationships, or hooking up with someone else when the characters in questions aren't officially together isn't cheating. I'm talking about the "It's so sexy/bad/wrong, but I just can't resist you despite this being potentially devastating to my significant other!" trope.)
I'm okay with pretty much all of the canon pairings. As my favorite Who character is Rose, I'll read pretty much any pairing with her, with a special love for femmeslash (what a surprise), especially companion on companion femmeslash. My favorite pairing is probably Rose/Ten/Cloen, though obviously, as you can tell from above, I love Doctor/Rose (their chemistry is fantastic, they complement each other really well, and they always seem so freakin' thrilled just to be with each other. <3 They are sunshine and puppies and roses and sexiness.) I don't ship Nine or Ten with anyone but Rose or the Master, except for some OT3s involving Rose. I wish there were more Donna/Jack. Ships that I'm not particularly fond of are Martha/Doctor (she is 100x more awesome without him, he was a jerk to her and I hate the "pining is rewarded" trope), Donna/Doctor (I love their platonic friendship LIKE BURNING. <3), River/Doctor (lack of free will = creeptastic), Ace/Doctor (father figure, ahoy!), Jack/Ianto (Jack was such an enormous dick to him; however fanon seems to be very different, so I usually just roll with it if it's a secondary pairing), & Tosh/Owen (again, he's a jerk to her and I hate the "pining is rewarded" trope).
-----Subset: Porn
I'm not going to lie: I like porn. Thus, the fic I read is affected by my porn reading preferences. I mostly read het (with a smidge of OT3, basically anything as long as it contains 1.a woman/women and 2. a vagina/vaginas), but also love good femmeslash when it exists <3. I don't read boyslash- As previously mentioned, I only read fic where at least one female is a main protagonist, and I don't find explicit descriptions of dudes getting it on particular sexy (which is the main reason I like smut), so most boyslash fic I see is excluded by that. I also don't read explicit Nine porn- I love Nine, and find CE very sexy, but for whatever reason I don't really want to read it. I'll read pretty much anything if I like the pairing; I don't think I've ever read anything that I found "too weird" or the like. In terms of what I find particularly OMG!SEXY!AGH! though (doesn't have to be explicit), I love shifting power struggles, genderplay, incoherent!babbling!Ten, crossdressing, ASP & shag-or-die (when the dub-con is discussed), strap ons & toys, oral sex performed on women, mindsex, Jealous!Ten, and BDSM with women topping. Things I don't find particularly sexy are the standard legally unwise things- incest, chan, non-mystical bestiality, non-con (i.e that is intended to titillate), etc., but also: dub-con where the issues involved aren't explored at some point, anything where someone is cheating on a significant other, men topping women, significant violence when all participants aren't supernatural/crazy, "Caveman" Nine, really detailed descriptions of bits, & humiliation.
...and we end my musings with the porn section. How appropriate.
