Signal Boost
While I admittedly don't tend to closely follow coverage of natural disasters, especially those involving flooding, I've seen very, very little media coverage of the flooding in Pakistan at all. What I have seen is absolutely heartbreaking, and doesn't seem to be getting better.

Through her same post I also learned that fandom has responded, as fandom does when it's at its best, with a help_pakistan comm, modeled after help_haiti. If you have the time or money to spare, please take a look. (Their list of charities seems to be a good list, also, if you are someone who would rather donate directly; I understand the discomfort some people have about fanworks in exchange for money under any circumstances). And please, spread the word.
