Let it Go
Tonight 
inlovewithnight and I drove to Baltimore to see Cowboy Mouth. This was a questionable decision as it was a work night, but life would be pretty boring without an irresponsible decision every once in awhile. (Granted, I...probably make more than my fair share, but what are you gonna do?) And, oh, tonight they were just what I needed. Fred did get a little petulant when the audience wasn't engaged enough because he can be demanding and kind of needy, with the refusing to play unless the audience is participating enough - though that's usually hilarious, and pretty effective at energizing the crowd; he just didn't have as much luck tonight. But even with Fred's petulance turned up to eleven and a mellower crowd then usual, it was still cathartic. there is just something so appealing about their whole "let go for tonight and be glad you're alive" thing. They have such a New Orleans sensibility. I do love DC, but I still miss New Orleans a lot, you guys.
And now I am home, and it's late but it's not that late and tomorrow is Friday, hooray, hooray.
