I miss people!
I miss Courtney. I miss her saying "buddy, let me tell ya" and ranting about the government and stupid people and I even miss the dang "your mom" jokes.
Similarly, I miss Val. I miss her saying "I just had the urge to stab you with this, but I didn't" and going on feminist rampages and talking about the oblongs and I even miss the dang "your mom" jokes from her, too.
I miss Lindsy. I miss her begging me to drive so we can go to... anywhere still open (hehe) and she can get a drink. I miss wandering through Walmart with her, and being amused together over a drunken Liz wandering through Walmart with us.
I miss Ally. I keep thinking "I'm going to call her tomorrow to see if she wants to hang out" and then we aren't finished with moving Miss Carolyn or Liz asks me to run errands with her (and I think I will be able to call Ally and invite her) and then we end up going to see Mike for like 4 hours instead (bleh). I also miss brownie/movie nights, and gnocchi (I still can't remember if that's how you spell it). I miss wandering through stores and not feeling any pressure to actually buy stuff, because we're having too much fun making fun of everything or talking about life.
Dear Everyone,
Summer is crap. I'm sick from allergies, and all my really good friends are busy or far away. I still don't have a job, and I will soon be broke. I am quite close right now. Also, I'm sorry I haven't called anyone. The moving thing sort of consumed my life (I'm still feeling the after effects of this mistake- allergies). Fortunately, we finally finished getting things out of the house. All that is left is for Liz to move her wrecked car, and I don't have to help with that, so as far as I'm concerned, it's over. What a relief. I promise to start making calls to people today. I will likely wait a little while, since it's still a bit early to wake anyone up, but really, look for a call from me either today or really soon.
