That's right, I'm posting on 6/6/06! It's the day of the beast! Just kidding. My mom read me an article the other day that said today being, esentially, 666, which is supposed to be the number of the beast. The article actually didn't talk much about apocalyptic theories. It did talk to several theologists, all of whom thought people were taking the coincidence, and the number its self, too seriously. Apparently a lot of people are also trying to make some serious capital gains from the day. A remake of the horror flick The Omen opens today, and some theologist guy who has a website is releasing a book. I'm sure there are others, but those are the things mom read about. The article also mentioned that 6 is an interesting number; in the bible, it is associated with man(or something like that). Maybe the message is that we are our own antichrist. I could see that.
