After a day of box moving and laundry, Anata and I decided to order take out at Phnom Penh for some good ol yumyums.
On the table: Chicken Wings, Deep Fried Squid, Beef Luc Lac with Fried Egg, Shrimp Ball Egg Noodle Soup, and the Oyster Pancake.
I really like how they do their oyster pancake, even if it's really oily :( That would be my only complaint. It's reminiscent of the oyster pancakes I can find in Bangkok that are delicious beyond belief, so I'll take it :P The ones in Bangkok are lighter, and the right balance of sticky and crispy without being oily like this one. But the flavours and stickiness are there, so I can forgive the oiliness.
Anata really likes the chicken wings and calamari. I guess the egg noodles are okay, they aren't my favoured things to eat, but overall Phnom Penh does serve up tasty food. Their beef luc lac is pretty tasty, and the beef is usually soft and not too try.
I should try their pho some time :) I've had their butter beef, and that was pretty tasty too!
