A/N: Get ready for spams back-dated logs!
So terribly sorry for this so very old log. This was dated back almost a year ago and I have no real excuse for my negligence in posting it than the mere fact I actually forgotten about it.
Also, the usage of Elena name here was purely coincidental. Elena hadn't appeared in the manga when we played this log.

Dino stood up in front of his room’s window, gazing out at the clear blue sky filled with white clouds, and couldn’t help but to smile softly. It had been few days since he and Kyouya went to Italy and Dino had a plan today.

He just hoped his lover would agree with his plan.

Kyouya opened just one eye to look at Dino. "...Stop looking so energetic so early in the morning."

Hearing his lover’s voice made Dino turned his head just enough to look at the man. The soft smile was still on his face and he chuckled. “Sorry. The day is just so pretty. I can’t help but feel energetic today.” he responded.

"You always do." Kyouya yawned, sitting up. "Morning people should all be shot." Sure, he often woke up early, but that didn't mean he was going to like it. Or act like a clown for it.

“It’s a good thing, right?” Dino opted to not comment on Kyouya’s second statement and walked up to the bed, leaning down to give Kyouya a good morning kiss. “How are you today, Kyouya?”

"I've been worse." It was the best he was going to offer.

Dino watched Kyouya’s face closely and considered his plan. “...I want to take you somewhere.”

"Oh?" Kyouya raised his eyebrows. "And where would that be? I'm not going to be social yet, remember."

“No, no. I’m sure there will be no crowd there,” he chuckled, if a little bit wryly. “I- I want to take you to- my parents’ graves.”

"...Ah." Kyouya closed his eyes briefly. "You may have to advise me. I have no idea about the Western etiquette regarding visiting graves."

Dino smiled. “There’s no such thing as etiquette, I’d guess. I usually just come there, put some flowers and- pray for them.” he laughed lightly. “Even if I’m not sure God will hear my prayers.”

"Mmmm." Kyouya looked at Dino. "I don't even remember how long it's been since I visited my mother's." He couldn't. It was in his father's territory.

“...I’d love to visit your mother’s grave. Someday.” One day, when Kyouya finally escaped completely from his father’s grasp.

"Some day." Kyouya's lips twitched. "And today, you introduce me to your parents." At least he could hardly get into an argument with the in-laws.

“That’s my plan.” Dino smiled. “Only if you’re sure you are strong enough for it, though.”

"Depends on how much I will have to walk."

“Not too far.” Dino answered. “They are buried in Cavallone’s private graveyard. It’s not that far from the mansion.”

"Fine." Kyouya yawned even as he got his feet to the floor at last. "I'll just blame you if I get too tired."

Dino would gladly take on the blame. He watched for a moment as Kyouya stood up. “Do you want to borrow my clothes?” Because they couldn’t go to a grave wearing a yukata.

"Do you have anything that fits me?" Oversized t-shirts were just as surely out. "I do have some other clothes with me... I think."

“Let me see.” Standing up from the bed, Dino walked to his wardrobe and searched for something that might fit Kyouya. Finally, he took out a white shirt that looked smaller than his other clothes.

“Maybe this one will fit?” he brought the shirt back to the bed and gave it to the dark haired man.

"Let's try it." He shrugged off his sleeping yukata, putting on the shirt. It wasn't too bad on him, he noted as he started buttoning it down. One had to wonder why Dino even had it.

It was a good thing Kyouya didn’t ask anything about the shirt to Dino because he couldn’t even remember anymore why he had it.

Once Kyouya had worn the shirt, Dino smiled. “Well, looks like you’re ready.”

Kyouya snorted. "Sorry, but dead or not, I refuse to visit your parents without pants."

Dino rolled his eyes, moving to get Kyouya’s pants and giving it to the man. “There, you cheeky person.”

"Good boy." Kyouya managed to get his pants on, getting up from the bed. He was rather weak, still, but he did manage to stand for a bit. "Shall we?"

Dino’s response was to walk closer to Kyouya, looping his arm around the younger man’s waist and kissing his forehead. After that, he took Kyouya’s hand in his and, with a smile, led the both of them out of the room.

Kyouya allowed such displays of affection, knowing that nobody would dare say anything. Not here, in the heart of Dino's territory.

Admit it or not, he was glad Dino stayed close by, his own steps still somewhat unsure.

Their walk was not so long. The private grave was still connected to the mansion in someway, only a little bit further in the back. There were many graves there, each one with beautiful statues looking over them.

The graveyard certainly was looked after. It was clean and there were some fresh flowers being placed on some graves.

Dino led Kyouya a little bit further into the grave yard, into a more secluded place where the statues all looked even more majestic. He stopped in front of two graves being placed right beside each other.

“...Here we are.” His voice was no louder than a whisper as he announced that.

Kyouya followed Dino's lead, not having much of a knowledge of where they were going. As they at last came to a halt in front of the two graves, he looked at them with a kind of faint curiosity. "...So these are your parents, huh."

His eyes scanned the information on the headstones. Names, dates, a couple of inspirational quotes, all very majestic and grand. "The ninth generation..."

“Yes, my parents.” Dino’s eyes were still glued at the gravestone, carved with their names: Abelino Cavallone and Elena Cavallone. A thin smile appeared on Dino’s face before he knelt down in front of the graves and touched the cold stone. “It’s been a while.”

"Should I apologize for keeping you away?" Not that he would.

Dino chuckled. “Nah, you shouldn’t.” Besides, he knew Kyouya wouldn’t really do it.

The blond man was silent for a moment, closing his eyes briefly as if remembering his parents while they were still alive, before opening his eyes again. “I- think this is a little bit silly, talking to graves like this, but- I hope you two will hear this, somehow.” he spoke softly, his words directed to the people who were long buried deep under the ground.

“Today I’m not alone here. I bring someone with me, someone whom I certainly wish could meet with the both of you for real.” he chuckled. “I know it’s impossible and even if it possible, I wouldn’t know how you two would react.” he took a breath. “Today I bring my fiancé to visit you, Madre, Padre. I’m sure he’s not someone you two would imagine, but he’s the one I’ve chosen.”

“I don’t know whether you two are hearing this or not, but I just want to say that I’m happy with him. You might be disappointed with me if you were still alive, but I would never let him go. Never.”

Kyouya listened to Dino speak. He knew there was nobody there to hear, but he also understood the sentiment. It was silly and herbivorous, but he did understand it.

"I am not a beautiful young heiress," he murmured to the same deaf ears. "I do not know if I would be... appropriate... in your eyes. But I do stand by his side, no matter what."

There was no answer to their words, of course, only a rustle of the trees as breeze played with their leaves. Dino also didn’t say anything for a moment. He didn’t know what he expected, because it was silly thinking his parents would hear him somehow, yet he still felt glad he had done this.

“...Thank you, Kyouya.” he whispered finally.

"For what?" After all, he had only told the truth.

“For doing something silly like this.” Dino chuckled. “Speaking to graves... I wonder if someone would think I’m crazy for doing it.”

"I'm Japenese, Cavallone. I would think I am more likely to think this reasonable than you."

“It’s... strange, isn’t it? How talking to an inanimate object could make you feel glad sometimes...”

"It's better than not having anyone listen." Obviously the graves could hear.

He paused, turning his eyes towards the graves again. Slowly, he managed to crouch down, looking at the two headstones at eye-level.

"I doubt I'm what you had in mind for your son," he said. "But I'm afraid I'm the one who will go down in history as the chosen partner of the Cavallone Tenth." A pause. "And I intend to keep it that way."

Dino’s eyes widened briefly and he turned his head to stare at Kyouya before a smile slowly appeared on his face. Then, only because Kyouya was so close with him at the moment and because he loved the man so very much, Dino reached out, gently caging Kyouya’s face before leaning forward, pressing his lips onto Kyouya’s.

Kyouya returned the kiss, a hand seeking out Dino's. Perhaps not the most usual way of making a first impression on the in-laws, but he had to admit it was quite enjoyable.

If anyone was going to disapprove, living or dead, they would soon find Kyouya did not care.

Breaking the kiss, Dino gazed at Kyouya before he chuckled. “I think my parents will be mortified I did that.”

"So shocked they could die, I'm sure." Perhaps a bit in bad taste, but right now he couldn't bring himself to care.

“Hush. It’s not good talking like that here.” Even so, Dino didn’t sound really upset.

"Sorry." He wasn't one bit sorry.

Dino knew it. He laughed lightly. “Of course you are.” Shaking his head fondly, the blond haired man stood up before offering his hand to Kyouya. “Well, now that we’ve had that lovely talk, let’s go back home?”

"Fine." Kyouya took the hand, simply because he wanted to, of course, not because he needed it of course not.

Dino gave Kyouya a smile and held his hand as they walked back from the cemetery to the mansion. He was silent this time, a small smile on his face. He always felt slightly nostalgic after visiting his parents’ graves.

Kyouya was silent for a while, not sure what to say. Finally he asked, already berating himself for such nonsense, "Are you all right?"

“Hm?” The blond man turned his attention at his companion, his smile widened. “Yes. I’m all right.” he answered. “It’s just- I don’t know, I always feel like this after I visited their graves.” he tried to explain.

"Like what?" It wasn't like he could see through the man, damn it.

“Like- uh,” Dino frowned, trying to describe his feelings. “Nostalgic...? Kind of sad too, but I also feel warm, so I’m not too sad. It’s almost like I could feel they hugging me and telling me things are going to be all right.” he laughed, then, embarrassed. “Strange, huh? I don’t think I can explain it really well.”

Sad? Dino wasn't supposed to be sad. Unfortunately, Kyouya was not exactly an expert in comforting anyone. "...I'm sure they're watching over you," he said at last, feeling stupid the moment he opened his mouth. "I mean, they were probably worried you'd fall down and crack your skull open the moment they weren't there holding your hand."

Dino listened to Kyouya’s words with half disbelieve. Kyouya sounded awfully like he wanted to cheer Dino up and, frankly, it was something the dark haired man never done before. The realization brought warmth to Dino’s chest and he couldn’t help the big smile that threatened to split his face when Kyouya had finished talking.

“Ha ha, you’re probably right. I’m sure that’s their biggest worry.” Dino laughed, feeling giddy all of the sudden. He squeezed Kyouya’s hand. “Thankfully, now I have you who will hold my hand, Kyouya.” he added in a softer tone, hazel eyes gazing directly at Kyouya’s with all adoration and love their owner felt for the man.

Kyouya gazed away, feeling even more awkward. Damn. He was probably blushing, too. "Don't get too sappy, herbivore," he murmured. "The only reason I'm letting you hold my hand is so you don't trip over your own feet. I'm sure quite a few of your men would be happy to accuse me of your murder if you got yourself killed near me."

“Yes, yes, of course, Kyouya.” It didn’t matter what Kyouya said now. Dino was already overwhelmed with happiness. He would never think it was possible, but at the moment, Dino could feel his love for Kyouya grew even larger.

“Hey, Kyouya,” he called softly, smiling at the slight blush he could see on the younger man’s face. “...I love you.” Because he felt he should say it out loud.

Maybe Kyouya's hand tightened over Dino's, maybe not. In any case, he'd never admit it. "I know."

A soft smile answered Kyouya’s simple statement and Dino leaned in, kissing his beloved softly. His arms captured the dark haired man’s form in a loose embrace. Once Dino broke the kiss, he buried his face on Kyouya’s neck, inhaling the man’s familiar scent deeply.

Dino didn’t knew what kind of difficulties lie ahead for them, but one thing he knew for sure was that he would never let this man go.
