I saw Cabaret last night at the Savoy. First of all, the Savoy Theatre is absolutely GORGEOUS. Google it. I was so impressed! Secondly, Will Young was good, but I think he could have been better. I've had a gay couple of weeks. Last weekend was Gay Pride in London and I totally gayed it up. I was IN THE PARADE with the gay band, and then I played a gay band concert, and then I drank drank drank at a gay bar. It was so much fun. I just found out that my high school is doing Rent for their spring musical.

Aurora isn't really that liberal of a town. I think I want to fly home and see how this pans out.

Last night I went to see Gypsy at City Center starring Patti LuPone. I'm not the biggest Patti LuPone fan. Her voice, although pretty fierce, is kind of biting, so it's an acquired taste. I wasn't really impressed with her in the revival of Sweeny Todd last year ( Read more... )

My sister was here all weekend. She arrived late on Thursday night and stayed through to Tuesday morning. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun.
