My computer is conspiring to keep me from actually posting anything. It kept crashing and there were some updates that made it worse and it kept installing them after I told it not to. Last week's target was twenty miles (five, five, ten) and I ended up doing nineteen (five and fourteen). I hurt my left foot doing the fourteen but I think that can be put down to the fact I was wearing my new trainers. I rested it for a couple of days and it seems to be fine now ( Read more... )

Did all right this week. Started well with five miles on Monday, didn't do quite so well on Wednesday (was supposed to do another five, got bored after about three and gave up) but did about twelve miles on Friday morning so that made up for it. I wasn't that good this week. Did my four miles on Tuesday, missed my 30 minutes exercise on Wednesday, only did a couple of miles on Thursday and did nothing on Saturday. I'm so far behind with my MoonWalk prep, it's slightly scary. I finally bought my trainers last night, I haven't even begun to think about my bra and I've done hardly any walking even though I'm supposed to be in week three of my training plan. We have officially started training for the MoonWalk again. We don't really need to start this early but I think everyone's a bit paranoid about injuries and stuff. This way, if anything comes up we can easily take a week or so off without it being a problem. Doesn't stop this stage from being really boring. 26.2 miles in just under seven and a half hours! Legs are still a bit achy but I can still walk so it's not that bad. Was quite a good weekend all round. Really enjoyed it; met some great people, raised loads of money and had a lot of fun. Slightly annoyed that I got home to find my computer monitor's knackered. Oh well.

Nearly time to leave. Just fell over a kerb and hurt my leg again. It'll be a miracle if I'm still in one piece at the end of this.
