It's almost starting to smell like spring.
Almost.
There's still just enough snow that it robs the air of true spring scent, but it's there. The white is disappearing, and mud season is on it's way (and fast).
Winter in Vermont just smells dry. The air hurts, it's rough, cold, bitter. Then spring washes all of it away. Spring smells good.
