Cable TV Rots the Brain

May 19, 2009 15:17

Out of 50 TV shows, today, maybe, and this is a very big maybe 1, TV show is really worth watching. I mean I used to have over 70 channels (yeah, I only had basic cable), and yet I seem to show the same shows over and over again.

Most of the other shows, including 90% of reality shows seem to be wasted cable TV space-I only use those shows for background noise while I type on the computer, clean, have sex (to muffle out the moans and screams), and so I don’t have to sleep in silence.

I have had no cable TV for about three weeks now, and as most of my favorite shows are now on DVD, I really don’t need cable TV. In fact, I think cable TV slowed me down. I have written more blogs, poems, and stories; typed more on the computer, cleaned more, had more energy, had more sex: why should I get cable TV back if I have so much more time to be productive?

I think that cable TV over all is really a waste of time and only good when you are sick or injured and cannot do anything. The bland, wasteful, uneducated shows slowly cause brain-rot as we as society sit on the couch slowly getting fat as we eat pizza and chips or pop-corn, (add favorite fat food here), and allow the endless see if a blaring damn TV screen on show that make no difference in the real scheme of things.

Thank god, I am finally free of the “Cable-TV-Rot” on my brain, and I am now able to live my life.
