so both wireless networks here at school have now blocked facebook. That REALLY annoys me. I understand that facebook isn't an appropriate site for school, but here and the library are the ONLY places I have internet access at all here in Hinojosa. The lack of internet here REALLY is irritating. I wish I had known these kinds of things before-- about internet or central heating not being standard. Well, the heat is now taken care of in our house because we found the remote for the heater thing. But not the internet. It just pisses me off that I came allll the way from America to this teeny tiny town in Spain for their English learning pleasure, and I can't even get basic necessities like internet or heat. The school is terribly heated, btw.
If I had known this before, I would not have agreed to work here! I should have requested a city... I wouldn't mind a small town if it had internet and heat! So, note to future Teach in Spain participants-- if you want internet or heat at home, don't let them put you in a small town!
That said, there are good things about being in a small town, but right now I'm irritated, so, sorry.
