Home Seller Tips - Take Lots of Photographs of Your Garden
One of the reasons that real estate market in Toronto and Mississauga dramatically goes up in spring and summer is that many home sellers believe that this is the time when their gardens look their very best.
And they are very right - gardens in full bloom look very appealing to the potential buyer. At the same time competition gets more fierce in spring, putting the home seller almost in the position of fighting for the potential buyer attention.
Can this be resolved?
I bet we can and I got this brilliant idea from the home seller on Folkway Avenue, in Mississauga. The home owner was planning to sell his home in early October to get better attention of the buyers. His garden in October is still full of mums and other fall flowers, but sure enough not as colorful and rich as in spring. You know what this home owner did? During the whole spring and summer he was taking pictures of his beautiful gardens.
This is what he had - and many more!
And here is what we did:
1. Photographs of flowers were added along with the regular home pictures on the feature sheets, virtual tour.
2. Photographs of flowers were left on the coffee tables and corner tables for the home buyers to see.
I was there for the open house and quite enjoyed the WOW-effect it had on the folks touring the house! Would recommend this to all home sellers - take lots of good quality pictures of your lovely gardens. Not planning to sell in the near future? That's ok, take them just in case!
