Cool Olympic Person of the day: This 17 year old chick from Indiana placed fourth in trap shooting. She's blind in her left eye and the pupil is elongated so it looks just like a cat's, and she wears glasses with one solid black lens. I think she should become a professional hitman with a slow boiling grudge for the 04 medalists and Tarantino should make a movie about her. (Actually, maybe Michael Mann, since Collaterall was coolish.)
Cool Actual Peron of the day: Matt Miller! is back from Nam and moving sort of near my dad, on the same day Catherine moves two blocks from my mom. If only this was all happening last August. (Catherine, why didn't you make your family move last August? )We were sitting on the common and this squirrel climbed right on the bench and into my shopping bag. Squirrels these days! I think the squirrel must be my spirit-guide-creature-thing. I'm sure there's an online quiz that will verify that...
