Cool Olympic Person of the day: Mr. Kent Smack, cuz he's got a great name, he's a local type (Cambridge) and he just made the semi-finals in the Quadruple Scull event. He was the front rower dude, and all this is very educational.
Cool Actual Person of the day: My roommate Rebecca, who I talked to again this morning. More reasons she is the badassest of roommates: She's an army brat and grew up on a base in Oklahoma, she's going out early and buying us a fridge, favorite station Classic Rock, favorite band the Doors, favorite living band Guster, she met Michael Phelps when her team hosted the swim nationals and was mistaken for his girlfriend. So points all around.
