Notes: I had heard that this was mush, the first lesbian book, great, but not a good novel at all. I was quite surprised to find myself with quite a brilliant piece of literature, independantly of the topic. It's a fairy-talish story about a boy who wants to play rugby set in a very weird alternate Victorian England (thus the rugby) but still, the characters should have been developed further to make it something else besides really funny. Notes: The truth is that this story is very good in theorizing that some tabues are simply an ingrained irrational belief but by choosing incest as the taboo of choice (and parent-child incest) it makes it quite impossible for the reader to get over the gut feeling of wrongness.
