I hate going too long without Turner Classic Movies. As for the SciFi Channel... The problem with you idea is that some of their shows haven't been released on DVD. Take Eureka for example. I can't think of many SF shows that are as much fun and full of the joy of life as that one. Of course,that's just my opinion.
Ah, yes, I thoroughly enjoy Eureka and would hate to have missed it. Do you know if it's not going to be released, or just not released *yet*?
At least some SCI FI shows are on iTunes, which would solve the not-watching-them-in-(almost)-real-time problem. Unfortunately, iTunes won't give me a list of available shows and prices until I download their software, which I don't want to do unless/until I know that idea will work. Catch-22.
