Lunch for Two
Characters: Cissie King-Jones and Anemone Flowers
Setting: Jade Harbor (Chinese Restaurant) => maybe downtown Haven?
Time: Noon; lunchtime
Summary: Following this, Cissie and Anemone agree to meet at the restaurant and hang out. Hopefully this'll end up somewhat better than her date with Jaime.
Warnings: Teenagers will be teenagers! Nothing yet, but hilarity should ensue.
The last time Cissie was here, she and her father (Professor Jones) had an awkward dinner. The food was great, but everything he said? Made her squirm. It was bad enough that she had a father - who looked eerily like her, what with the blue eyes and blond hair - but he was a college professor? Who lectured on ethics and morality? It was almost too much.
This would hopefully erase the bad memories. She was going to meet her Haven best friend! If the pictures... and recorded IM messages... and numerous emails and texts... said anything, they were ridiculously tight. Even tighter than Cissie and Cassie had been! Still, Cissie had to remind herself, this Anemone was also an off-worlder. She knew as much about this world as Cissie did.
Arriving in the restaurant, Cissie waited near the front desk. (She was early-- her shift at the club ended early since one kid in the pool had to go to the ER.) Once Anemone got here, they could get right to bonding! And everything would be a-okay... hopefully. After all, this wasn't an episode of Wendy the Werewolf Stalker.
