(no subject)
So, I went to the roast of Sean T. Johnston last weekend. One of the bits done by Branden Wulf featured Sean T's livejournal. It made me think, 'Man, I really did enjoy that.' Of course I am fully aware that what I enjoyed most was reading and posting on other people's journals.
Anyways, I have decided to pick it up again, even though I doubt that I know anyone who posts it up anymore.
Today, was an up and down day. I smashed my finger at the beginning of the day at work. That made me pretty mad, but I didn't swear. Something I have decided to avoid doing lately (really swearing and smashing my fingers are both good things to avoid, but I was refering to the swearing in this case). After smshing my finger I slowed down quite a bit. I still kept pace pretty well today, but apparently I wasn't moving quick enough because at the end of the day all of the guys in the shop started helping me finish the axle assemblies I was trying to finish.
It turned into chaos. Maybe I should have just been assertive and start delegating, but I have only been working in the shop for about a month now and I thought that may have been too forthright. Despite their help I did not finish all of the axles by 5 and i will probably have to rush tommorrow morning.
