Dates

I realize that I have been pretty lazy about writing. Is it weird that I wish my thoughts and memories were (selectively) recorded automatically through my whole life?
Anyways, new topic. I went on a date night with my dad last night (probably the first time in 6 months). I had a blast. We went mini-golfing and actually played all 36 holes, which I think I've only done maybe once before in my life. Daddy beat me both times, but I was ahead for more than half of the second 18 holes. When we finished playing we went inside to do arcades, but didn't get too much done cause they were closing. We did, however, play a game of air hockey and DDR.
I feel like there was something else I wanted to write about and now I can't remember what it is. Hmmm... *Thinking* ... Oh! I remember! On wednesday night I went to Shari's for the usual college group hang out, but this time it was really great. All the people that went to Passion 2010 were all fired up about it and told us more about what happened and what they learned. That kind of passion is contagious. So needless to say there was great conversation and a lot of prayer.
Tomorrow morning the sibs and I are leaving for SoCal! I'm so excited! Part of this is my Christmas gift to them, but I was already planning on driving Caleb down so I could spend time with him and see his campus. Oooo! Guess what?! (Shhh. It's still a secret so don't tell anyone.) Caleb's got a girlfriend!!! I am so excited for him. Her name is Keirsten (not quite sure how you spell, it but I know it's different than Kirsten Anderson). This is like a big deal. Caleb's first girlfriend and he's taking it seriously, but he is so creative and happy. Their first date is going to be on Sunday once Emily and I leave. They're going on a picnic at this spot they know of on the hills near Pepperdine where there's a little cave. Oo this makes me so happy! Apparently they've been really good friends since they met but became official over break on January 4th. So far he's only told Cody, Emily, and me. He says he doesn't want to deal with the barrage of questions from the parents right before he leaves so I guess he's gonna tell them once he's bak at school.

friends, date, prayer, family
