Christmas 2009

:) I love my family. Last Sunday we had our first Christmas party (which I think I already wrote about) and yesterday was "The Big Day": Christmas! Man, it was so hard to keep my parents' gifts a secret cause they both kept talking about what they wanted and that's exactly what we got them. My dad wanted a Wii and we got the whole shebang; games and Wii Fit with the balance board. He loves it. We spent a good portion of the day all taking turns playing stuff on it and creating our own profiles. My mom really wanted drawers for the kitchen cabinet with all the pots and plans cause it's hard for her to reach way in there. We opened all of our stockings first like we always do and then she started to prepare the monkey-bread. Lol. She asked Caleb to get the dish which was supposed to be how she found out. She was so happy. Some of my lovely stocking stuffers included a new scarf, lip gloss and eye shadow, little knit gloves, a hat with ear flaps for the cold weather at school, and this adorable little pink book that my dad found that is full of beautiful poems to daughters. I love it. My brother bought me this really soft set of black gloves and a hat and a scarf. Way fancy looking. :) And of course I absolutely love my knee-high boots from Mom and Dad. :D They make me look so stylish. I got Uggs from Emily and then we did our annual treasure hunt. (I love those things!) It wasn't as long as some years, but it was a good one. We found our "big presents" in the van. I got practically a whole new wardrobe!! I'm so excited! I must take pics, but I'm afraid I shouldn't do it now cause I am still without a camera charger for another 2 weeks, so I must save the battery for more important events. (Unless of course someone with a camera wants to do a photo shoot. :) I do have my film camera.)
Some of my mom's side of the family came over on Christmas Day in the afternoon and we had a blast with the Wii and dinner and then we watched Enchanted (such a cute movie). Lol you wouldn't believe how many DVDs and CDs our family got this year, especially my dad. Lol. We each kind of had a theme. Mine was clothes and accessories, Dad's was movies...
