Today was a beautiful hot day out. Awesome. Me and Gabe were excited to head out at around 1:30 to make it to the beach a little past high tide. Which through experience we think is the best time.
BUT we were oblivious to the fact that it poured out last night. And from our previous outings we had learned that heavy rain that has been or is coming, the crabs sense it (or something) and they don't come ashore. It was also incredibly windy on the beach today, espcially Sandy Point. And the crabs don't come ashore either when the waves are too choppy. Because if they do they risk being stranded on their backs. So we only found 2 at SP which I had to wade knee deep in the water to get. All in the name of Bio.

The weather's supposed to be beautiful this weekend so I can't wait to go home and lay out in the sun to even out my tan. Yeah! And it's going to be the first weekend in a month where it didn't RAIN.
