I almost forgot! This makes me so happy: in the school closings section on one of our local news station's websites, there is an option to receive emails and/or text messages when your school district has a closure. YAY! As Josh noted, the internet is beautiful.

Now if my fridge could text me when we're out of eggs, that would ROCK.
