I've broken into the mead I made this past spring; it's aged beautifully (who says you can't age mead by leaving it in a plastic jug in the fridge?) and is delicious and mellow.

Now that the "big" day (I put that in quotations since I don't celebrate Christmas) is over I'm starting to feel more myself. My room mate bought me some aromatherapy socks (scented socks, wut? I got my first Christmas card today, from my Uncle Howard and his family in Ontario. He wrote saying that the temperature there had briefly reached -24c and he thought of me.
