Happy Yule!
Happy Yule to all! Happy Mother's Night, this December 20th. Hail the return of Sunna!
I've broken into the mead I made this past spring; it's aged beautifully (who says you can't age mead by leaving it in a plastic jug in the fridge?) and is delicious and mellow.
An excerpt from the Asatru Folk Assembly's "12 Days of Yule" booklet:
"Sunna is ready to begin her return! Let us greet her with the flame of love, as we light a candle - perhaps on the yule log decorating our living rooms!
This first day of Yule, we remember Industriousness.
Let us be industrious!
This day, I will pour a libation to Sunna,
to give good speed to her return.
I will be industrious this day."
