I worked 7 hours yesterday (drove in and tried to knock out some stuff while it was quiet).

I got cast for a nightguard this morning before work and go back on Wednesday to have it fitted. That put me behind today. I don't want to stay late, though; I'm so tired.

Per my usual when feeling down, I've been reading a lot of fanfic lately. I'm just going to list this rather than making full rec posts. I like all these stories, and most of them I have ready many, many times; a few are newer, and this was the first time. This is a variety of stuff, because in this mood I read where fancy takes me.

Here's a Doctor Who/Torchwood crossover as a bonus, because I felt the need for some Nine. (Despite how adorable Ten is, not to mention how pretty he is with the Master, for me, Nine is the hotness.) Day 12 of 31 Flavors:
A Tardis Big Bang story (IOW, this is long), this crossover is fun for fans of both sources. It's from Harry's POV and there are mostly Dresden-verse shenanigans, although it takes place in the Torchwood region of action (that is, Harry is in the U.K.). The events take place mid season 1 of Torchwood and after Blood Rites.

Oh, my stars and garters. I went over to jescaflowne's last night and finished up DW, and then I watched the TW series 2 finale. ( cutting for spoilers, because I know there's at least one soul who has lagged behind even longer than I have )

So, the thing is, John Barrowman reminds me intensely of Paul Gross. He's similar in looks, funny, a huge hambone, and...yes. I could see him playing Fraser in due South. Very odd.
