Yesterday, I went on down to Des Moines to meet my friend Candy Anderson, who'd invited me to a Thanksgiving potluck. As I usually do at these things, I brought along some jugs of fruit juice. I hope all of you who celebrate the holiday are having a wonderful time. I ate dinner at one of the local churches; they had a big free meal there for people who were going to be alone today. Saturday, I'm invited down to Des Moines for a meal with my friends in the Des Moines SF Society.

We had snow last night. It wasn't more than an inch or so, and it'll melt off later this week if the forecasts are correct, but it's a taste of coming "attractions." I'll go out and clear the sidewalk in a little bit ( Read more... )
