Today would have been 28 years for my parents. They still have...had...one of the best marriages I've ever seen, but then again I'm partial. I'd be lucky to have a marriage like theirs.

Halloween is fast approaching and I do not have a costume. I blame my apathy towards Halloween on my parents. We were those people who thought Halloween was a celebration of the devil. Saying "Christmas will be different this year" is a bit of an understatement. I remember sitting in the living room last year, opening presents with the family thinking, "This is the last time we'll do this with mom."
