I'm a little jealous from reading this:

My wife and I had a weekend that resembled a MasterCard commercial. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it, and I can now die happily: We saw Springsteen on Friday night and U2 on Saturday night.  I can hear about 10 percent less than last week...an indicator that I had a really good time.

Our Northeast Bureau informs me: Two men were taken into custody today in Philadelphia for the shooting of a cop. Their names? Brian Williams and Christopher Reeves. As a producer friend in Philadelphia (where I once lived and worked) put it: You can't make this stuff up.

We're still talking about the Grammys here today: strong start by U2 -- the album will be huge. Loved Coldplay, loved McCartney, and how lucky is Dave Grohl? I love Adele but she needs to lose the gum. Loved the USC Trojans with Radiohead (anyone remember "Tusk"?). Loved the Rap Pack despite some obvious tension on stage.
