(no subject)
Well time to celebrate the 4th of July and how is the lion going to do it? Well not the way I wanted to that's for sure.
I am heading back to Chicago again to visit my oh so wonderful sister and the thing they married and the spawn creature they created together. Not exactly how I wanted to spend my 3 day weekend plus two days after that for good measure. But what can I do? You gotta do what you gotta do.
So I'm off tomorrow and I shall be back sometime Tuesday. Ugh. As you can see I'm so looking forward to this. It's not that I don't like Chicago as I do, its a fine little city for me to stomp flat its just to use my personal days to visit my annoying sister and even more annoying husband of hers and to fawn over the ugly little baby they had together is not my idea of a good use of time or my days off. But everyone else in the family is going and my sister probably have a hissy fit if I wasn't there too. So off I go. I will let you all know how it goes.
Sad thing is I was just there last year and had a great time as I visited a good friend of mine who is there. But now I have nothing to do there as I saw all the good stuff there when I was there last time. This is going to be a very long 4 days to say the least.. oh how I just want to laze in bed and grow and stomp all weekend.. why me.. why me.. the lion taken down by a sister, brother in law and a baby.
I finally got the little ugly baby of theirs a birth gift though. Not by choice believe me as I don't believe you should give a gift just for giving birth. Birthday is one thing but just because you gave birth.. thats different. So I made sure the gift is for the baby and not for my sister but really I guess it will be for my sister as the little baby won't appreciate what I got him while she will.
My mom wanted me to get something off of the registry but you know this lion. I don't do that crap. I find all that to be pure nonsense. No, the king wants something more personal so I went to Things Remembered and got him a picture frame that has engraved on it his name, the details of his birth like date size and weight and stuff like that. And we put in a picture of him in it and there you go. Wound up costing me 51 bucks all together which isn't worth it but what can I do? I gotta get the little bugger something. Uncle Ramszilla has to play by some rules.. as much as he don't want to.
So I wish you all a very Happy 4th of July if you are in America, otherwise just have a good weekend . Try and stay large and destroy things while I'm gone. Get it on Tape so I can watch you in action later.. and if you need me.. too bad. I won't be here. Have a good one everyone. See you next week.. if I survive.. ugh boy will I rip that city apart while I'm there.. ugh what a trip this is going to be...
