My kitty's full name is actually "Stella Mira" ("Miracle Star"), after this very variable star! But I call her "Mira" for short.

A woman named Debbie (very much a Cat Person) answered the ad for Catsitting for mira_kitty that I (also) put up at Caltech. It turns out that she and her husband had two cats for a nice long time.
