Frienly Love, part I

This one is for dubaiyan because she seems in greatest need of it right now.

Tamanna it's been almost a year since I met you, and I knew you were one of those people I'd love from the start. You made your first entry into The Good Books by posting flattery about my writing and stayed there because I loved yours and the more I knew you, the more I was convinced you were a genuinely nice person who seems cursed with idiotic parents and doesn't appreciate herself like she should.

I meant what I said when I said you were luminous. I think it's a pity that you don't believe in yourself, because I believe in you. That doesn't mean you have to publish a bestseller in order to prove it to me, because there is no need to prove anything. You already are special and worthwhile.

I think there are so many more dimensions to you than you tend to explore, and that you tend to sell yourself short on many an occasion, and if I could I'd introduce you to the magic world of you, right after I've gagged your parents and put them under house arrest in Bangladesh.

I love the fact that you love to read, and that you've read so many things. I love the fact that you make the people on your f-list feel listened to and welcome, and it's so very easy to have conversations with you.

I don't often comment in your LJ (I'm going through a quietish phase of life) but I do read the entries avidly, and I'm so deeply jealous that I didn't get to see the Boy Ballet.

I'm pleased I've got the chance to mention some of the reasons why you rock.
And I still intend to write Jane Austen slash just for you.
