They also have serious discussions about their feelings while camped out in her living room in pajamas and bear slippers.

Akiyama Satomi is a professional woman in her 30s. She's also single. And you know what? She doesn't care. She isn't a defiant man-hater! She isn't desperately looking for love! She just likes doing her own thing, spending her own money, being by herself. For a jdrama, this is damn near revolutionary.

Kamisaka is the new teacher in school. No one knows why he was hired except the principal, but Akiyama doesn't think much of his ~*carefree attitude*~.
He's sorta like a puppy, you see. He's really cute and harmless and he doesn't mean to do anything wrong, it's just that when you dump him on the kitchen floor he loses control of his paws and goes skidding. Akiyama quickly realizes that if she doesn't step in and take care of him, he'll probably wind up prostituting himself to afford his next hipster jacket.

Rather than leaving him to his own devices, Akiyama decides to let him stay with her. The reputation of the school is at stake!

Instead of pointing out how stupid this is, Akiyama's response is "but we'll stop caring about life and turn into alcoholics!!"
