tried to go to the highschool track to run on a flat surface tonight and run 2.5 miles. found out a little too late that there were two lacrosse games going on this evening at liberty. grrrrr. I'm not sure which made me madder, that there was actually a home game tonight of all nights, or that I'd forgotten to check the sports schedule before leaving the house. I'm still undecided on that.

but I put my frustration to good use and ran a 1.95 mile course in 18:24. I stopped after the first mile to stretch again, but that wasn't because I was tired, I'd planned to do that at the track anyway. stop after the first and second mile to stretch, then run another 1/2 mile as fast as I could without losing my breath. I didn't do the extra half mile but I did the first one and two. I'm happy with my time and how I feel. Tired yeah, but I haven't eaten since lunch time so that's not unexpected. AND I ran yesterday too, albeit at a much slower pace.

Okay, now it's time to grab some water, skim milk, and dinner, then on to doing dishes, laundry, and cleaning up the mess that I call my bedroom.
