My new cats arrived today! Chaya and Inky, unfortunately, are NOT happy to have new siblings. Not only are they growling at the new arrivals, but they are also growling at each other. Jubilee growls back at them, while Katniss just goes "play, play, play." I'm a little concerned that having each other means that J & K won't make much of an effort to get to know their new sisters. When I adopted Inky she immediately wanted to be friends with Chaya (despite Chaya growling at her), and when I adopted Chaya she wanted to be friends with Poupée. But Jubilee and Katniss have shown no desire to get to know these new cats who are growling at them. They have also shown no sign of wanting to be lap cats, whereas every cat I have adopted in the past has been a lap fungus almost immediately, whether baby kitten or adult cat.
However, they have been here for only 12 hours, so things can change.
Now we have
A ball of kitten.
A blissed-out kitten relaxing in the sun.
Jubilee doing her best impression of a Christmas present.
Jubilee wants to know why I keep pointing my phone at her and making things go "flash" in her face.
