OK. I posted Thursday's entry now for today's.
It is April 1st... and despite it being April Fool's Day, I am not joking when I say that there is two inches of freshly fallen snow on the ground. WTH. Some schools were running on a delay this morning. Punxatawney Phil - get it right next year, dammit! Actually, I don't know what the hell the groundhogs said. I just like the name.
Work has sucked eggs. The past two nights have been total hell on wheels and balls to the walls busy. Sadly, not many of the cases were stupid shits trying for a day off from work, either. One gentleman came in, we gave him multiple units of blood and he still croaked. He also had an awesome last name... I can't tell you that, though. Some names that have come through the hospital recently: America and Mercedes. First one, she's an adult so she was not named by a Tea Party Patriot; the second, also an adult, but of an age where she could have had a Valley Girl as a mom. And, just a thought, why are we giving children last names as first names? MacKenzie, Tyler, Taylor, Madison, etc. Weird. As Charles Shultz said, "Why isn't anyone named Bill anymore?"
Have been having bad dreams again. I am not sleeping well to begin with and the nightmares are only making the problem worse.
My twitchy side had cleared up for a day or two but it came back yesterday. I was struggling with that and my out right clumsiness all night. And I mean seriously clumsy.
I'm going to go draw. I had thought about going shopping - I need more storage bins - but the snow changed my mind. Ugh. Too cold and wet.
