Yesterday, Dad and I cleaned some more. Anyone want any books? *Ducks flying paperbacks* Yeah, I know, you all have as many as I do. Sorry. Just thought I'd ask. Heh. Still, I am sending two to CornerofMadness. Give them to your library when finished. Or blast them into outer space for all I care. I do NOT want them back. Dad was complaining, "Why do you keep all this stuff?" then he'd turn around and say, "Keep that". Gee, I wonder, PD (Dad's initials). Cleaned off three bookshelves... and we have ONE shelf open. Not one bookshelf - just one shelf. Jeez. And we must be the most boring people on earth as most of our books are history or science. Very little fiction - though we have a set of "classics" that I don't think anyone has read all of them. (I read the Poe stuff, to be sure, but most of the other things... Dad may have read them.)

Spent the rest of the weekend drawing and stuff. Have some PIC SPAM!

Title: First Saturday in May
I have no idea why this strikes me as being so funny. I have yet to see other artwork where race horses are depicted as marathon runners. Those are the twin spires of Churchill Downs in the background. The name reflects the day when the Kentucky Derby (the first of the Triple Crown races) is held. Now, I know horses race everyday but most folks are only familiar with the Triple Crown.

Title: Cthulhu's Lament
I don't draw monsters well. Ok, really, I don't draw well to begin with - that's why I'm a cartoonist. But back to topic, I can't draw *scary* monsters to save my life. They all look like something from "Scooby-Doo". :S "Oh, yeah, you're a monster - *ahem* - eek." Anyway, so I'm actually kind of proud how this guy turned out. He looks bony and bloody the way I wanted him to. Of course, being a cartoonist, I have to do a joke. Sorry. Heh.
