After getting me totally hooked on chocolate chip bagels, boss has now stopped providing them. The torment! At least I remembered to bring in a new 3 lb bag of peanut M&Ms earlier this week.

The office is a weird little ghost town today. Apparently it was about the same yesterday. Maybe everybody's getting started on the 4th really, really early?

Whenever I hear mention of "The Hammond Organ", I catch myself wondering exactly what Richard Hammond has to do with the conversation. Hmm ... I wonder how much hamster I can get from netflix.

At many places of employment, when an employee is out sick for more than three days the employee is supposed to bring a note from the doctor. The policy I have seen does not state anything about the motivation of this requirement. So rather than doing anything meaningful like asking HR, I poll you!
